Resources
We produce resources to help you to pray, to support and to foster. We offer resources for individuals and churches.
Fostering Sunday
Every year in May we hold Fostering Sunday, where your church can dedicate part or all of the Sunday service to think about fostering.
We produce resources such as videos, talk outlines, banners and giveaways every year.
Speakers at your church
We have a team of experienced speakers who can come to speak in your church service. From a slot in your notices, a testimony, or preaching, we would love to come along and speak to your congregation.
Although we like to mention fostering, our speakers are skilled speakers who could talk on topics such as welcome, hospitality, generosity, the Father heart of God, hope, rebuilding and restoration, or God’s love for family.
It was fantastic to welcome Zoe to speak at our all-age Father’s Day service. She highlighted the work of 100 Homes and the need for more foster carers in a short interview with me, and then gave an inspiring and accessible Bible-based message encouraging us to think about welcome, hospitality and whether there’s space at our table. We then turned all we had learnt into prayer – it was great to pray specifically for children in care, foster carers and 100 Homes. She was very happy to adapt her talk around the needs of our church. I’d really recommend welcoming a representative from 100 Homes to your church to raise awareness of these important issues and explore how God might be calling us to respond.

Prayer Resources
Prayer is really important to us and our work is built on the prayers of local churches.
We have have produced resources to help individuals and churches pray for 100 Homes, for children in care, for foster carers and local authorities.
Video
Every year we produce a video in time for fostering Sunday which can be used by churches to highlight the need for foster carers.
You can access these videos via our Fostering Sunday page.
Support for Foster Carers
We are so grateful for the foster carers who come forward through our campaign and making sure they are supported is very important.
We offer a buddy to everyone who comes forward to foster, who can walk with hem through the application and assessment process.
Once foster carers are approved, we have a WhatsApp prayer and support group, and we hold regular meet-ups for 100 Homes foster carers.
We also have a good working relationship with local authorities, so can work with them to address any support needs.
100 Homes support has been invaluable and without it we would have quit long ago.
Training events
100 Homes recognises the importance of training the wider church to welcome foster families and vulnerable children. We sometimes hold our own training events, or join with others to equip the church to welcome and safeguard foster children and fostering families.
